Residential Development Reaches Construction Milestone in North Alabama

A new residential development recently marked a significant construction milestone. Brasfield & Gorrie and Halstead topped off The Stella, a four-story, mixed-use development in the city’s Five Points neighborhood. Topping out marks a project reaching its full height, and work will now focus on interiors.
“Huntsville is growing rapidly, and we’re excited to help meet the demand,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager Sara Beth Wilcox. “Our team is passionate about building strong communities, and they’re working hard to craft this beautiful neighborhood addition.”
The Stella will include 352 apartment units (ranging from studios to two bedrooms), a four-story, 444-space parking garage, and 3,500 sq ft of ground floor retail space. The apartment community’s abundant amenities will include:

- Outdoor grills
- A state-of-the-art fitness center
- A rooftop lounge
- Valet trash service
- Greenspace
- A dog spa
Construction is scheduled to complete in the third quarter of 2024.
