Mississippi Construction Organization Recognizes Brasfield & Gorrie for Excellence in Construction

Associated Builders and Contractors Greater Mississippi chapter honors Brasfield & Gorrie projects

Jackson, Miss. (November 9, 2015) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced that the company has been honored by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Mississippi chapter.

During an awards ceremony at the Jackson Hilton on November 6, 2015, the company received two Merit Awards for excellence in construction.

The two projects honored with Merit Awards include Highlands Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and Baptist Medical Center-Leake in Leake, Mississippi.HighPres-147-web

“These recognitions by our industry peers reflect the commitment to excellence demonstrated by our project teams, clients, subcontractors and business partners, and also reflect our growing presence in Mississippi,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Regional President Jack Darnall.

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently constructing several projects in Mississippi, including the new Westin Jackson™ Hotel and renovations to Baptist Health System in Jackson, among others. The company recently completed several projects in Mississippi, including Highlands Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland, renovations to Merit Health Natchez, and C Spire’s new $23 million state-of-the-art commercial data center in Starkville, which was recently recognized with a number of construction awards.
