Brasfield & Gorrie Marks Construction Milestone at Omni Oklahoma City Hotel

Today Brasfield & Gorrie and Omni Hotels & Resorts celebrated the topping out of Omni Oklahoma City Hotel.

“Omni is ensuring that this property offers top-notch amenities, including retail, seven dining outlets and a full-service spa, all within steps of the city’s Scissortail Park,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager Mike Foushee. “This milestone is another exciting step forward in our ongoing partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts.”

The 605-guest-room convention center hotel is 17 stories tall and will offer 1 level of underground parking. Construction includes 33,700 cubic yards of concrete, the equivalent of 4,200 trucks full; 500 miles of wire cable; and 523,992 linear feet of post-tension cable, which would stretch 99 miles if laid end to end.

Since 2011, Brasfield & Gorrie has worked on numerous projects with TRT Holdings, Omni Hotels & Resorts’ parent company, including the construction of its headquarters in Dallas. The general contractor has previously completed Omni hotels in Nashville, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, and at The Battery Atlanta. Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2021.
