Brasfield & Gorrie Moves to New Charlotte Location

Contractor marks opening of relocated Charlotte office

Charlotte, N.C. (November 2, 2016) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced the opening of the company’s relocated Charlotte office. The new location is at 521 East Morehead Street in the Morehead Place office complex in the heart of Charlotte.

“This move marks a significant milestone for our growing Charlotte office and will help our company meet market demands in the region,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Regional Vice President Scott Duckworth.

19480_website4According to Duckworth, the new location will provide more space for the general contractor’s Charlotte workforce and will allow for future expansion. Recently renovated to provide custom features and modern touches, the new 5,500 sq ft office includes 11 offices, a dedicated bid room, conference rooms, storage spaces and a breakroom.

Brasfield & Gorrie has worked in the Charlotte market since 1999 and established a Charlotte office in 2011. In the region, the company has completed 70 projects valued at more than $400 million. Notable projects in the area include the Perimeter Woods Office Building I, the Carolinas Healthcare System SouthPark Emergency Department and the Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center.

Currently, Brasfield & Gorrie is constructing a number of projects in Charlotte, including the AvidXchange Headquarters, the Solis Southline Apartments and the Caromont Regional Medical Center Emergency Department Addition, among others.

Across the state, Brasfield & Gorrie’s work includes more than 410 projects totaling nearly $3.3 billion in value and representing over 20 million sq ft of space. Some of the most notable projects include MetLife at Weston Lakefront in Cary, Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital North Tower in Greensboro, City of Raleigh Transit Operations Facility and Central Operations Facility in Raleigh. Additionally, the firm is constructing the new Mission Hospital for Advanced Medicine in Asheville.
