Brasfield & Gorrie Begins Work on Birmingham Multifamily Development

Birmingham’s revitalization efforts evident with Park 35 on Clairmont

Birmingham, Ala. (September 11, 2015) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced that construction is underway with Park 35 on Clairmont, a $43 million multifamily development in Birmingham, Alabama. The structure will incorporate wood framing, which is a growing trend in construction today.

Located in the Lakeview neighborhood, the new 325,000 sq ft apartment complex will include 271 luxury units as well as a parking garage, clubhouse, courtyard and swimming pool.

Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie is teaming with Bristol Development Group and J. Davis Architects on Park 35. Construction is expected to complete in January 2017.

Brasfield & Gorrie is also constructing several other multifamily projects in Birmingham, including renovation of the historic Pizitz building. Previously, the company worked on several other projects that have impacted downtown revitalization, including Railroad Park, completed in 2010 and the joint venture that built Regions Field in 2011.
