Brasfield & Gorrie Begins Construction at Flint Creek Power Plant

Work begins at plant in Gentry, Arkansas

Birmingham, Ala. (Feb. 27, 2014) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced the start of construction on a project at Flint Creek Power Plant in Gentry, Ark.

Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor for the project, which consists of approximately 14,000 cubic yards of concrete foundations and approximately 16,000 linear feet of underground pipe.

This portion of the project for American Electric Power is scheduled for completion in 2015. Sargent and Lundy LLC is acting as engineer.
