Brasfield & Gorrie Completes Naval Hospital Jacksonville Renovation

Jacksonville, Fla. — Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, recently completed renovations and alterations to the Naval Air Station hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

The $9.5 million project included a new hospital entry and renovations of key clinical and ancillary spaces within the existing hospital. Renovation work was completed in the pharmacy, nuclear medicine, endoscopy, the intensive care unit, the post anesthetic care unit, seated recovery, surgical support, the quarterdeck customer service area, and the ear, nose, and throat clinic. The project also brought the existing facility into compliance with current antiterrorism/force protection specifications.

Brasfield & Gorrie partnered with architect RLF and the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) to successfully complete the project.
