The Woodward Academy Student Transportation Building is a new 15,150 sq ft facility located on approximately 3.5 acres in East Point, Georgia. This facility houses the bus maintenance and transportation support offices for the school. This new standalone structure on an existing shopping mall land parcel replaces the Academy’s existing facility. The project scope includes site demolition, grading, parking lots, and all site utilities. The structure is a pre-engineered metal building on shallow foundations and slab on grade. The interior includes offices and a garage maintenance facility, with sealed concrete and carpeted floors. The MEP systems include HVAC split systems and exhaust/ventilation fans, and the plumbing consists of restroom, kitchen services, and multiple fluid systems for the garage maintenance area.
