The U.S. Air Maintenance Hangar at Tampa International Airport has a 92,000 sq ft clear-area hangar bay, 75,000 sq ft of support area, a 10,500 sq ft pump station, and a 5,000 sq ft drum storage area.

The 167,000 sq ft structural steel hangar stands 110 feet high. Four main trusses support a 450-foot clear span in the hangar bay. Each main truss is 46 feet at the deepest point, and the bottom cord of the truss is 63.5 feet from the floor. The hangar floor is a 16-inch-thick concrete slab, and the 358,650 sq ft apron consists of 16-inch-thick slabs poured in lanes.
