The new UNC Rex Healthcare Cancer Center is a four-story, 143,000 sq ft freestanding outpatient cancer center with four equipment vaults. In addition to consolidating radiation from the existing cancer center, chemotherapy, and related services, UNC Rex’s new Cancer Center will also offer massage, acupuncture, emotional support, and other holistic treatments as part of a new “Quality of Life” clinic. The facility will largely consist of infusion bays and other services provided on an outpatient basis.
