The UHS Spring Valley Hospital Expansion included a three-story, 80,000 sq ft patient tower addition and a 15,000 sq ft renovation. The new patient tower includes a dedicated 24-hour entrance for expectant mothers and an 18-bed postpartum unit on the first floor, a 36-bed surgical unit on the second floor, administrative offices, and space for future growth on the third floor. The project used an integrated project delivery plus Lean collaborative delivery method that involved engagement of all parties throughout the life of the project.
