This single-story, 45,000 sq ft, steel-frame laboratory building with a partial basement at Tuskegee University was structurally designed for a future second-floor addition. The majority of the ground level is comprised of active laboratory teaching space, with corresponding support labs for each teaching lab. The remainder is office/administration space. The building features an impressive lobby with terrazzo flooring and millwork finishes and includes a seminar room that seats 80 people. The basement houses the main electrical and equipment rooms and includes a shell space intended for future build-out.
