Construction and renovations will soon start across Southern Research’s 10-acre, 15-building campus. The project will include over 200,000 sq ft of life science buildings ranging from wet labs, dry labs, research facilities, office space, employee amenity space, and an incubator building.

The Southern Research campus will be modernized to fuel the organization’s growth for the next 80 years. The campus renovations will support the expansion of current drug discovery and development programs, enable new programs, facilitate talent attraction, lower indirect costs, and establish a biotech corridor in Birmingham.
