Brasfield & Gorrie Celebrates Opening of Uptown Charlotte Regions Bank Branch

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie joined Regions Bank and the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 20, to cut the ribbon and reveal Regions’ most modern branch in the Carolinas to date.

The branch is at the base of the new 615 South College high-rise, where Regions recently moved specialized banking teams into 64,000 square feet of office space. Terry Katon, Charlotte Market Executive for Regions, said the branch space on the main level represents the latest milestone in the bank’s growth in the market.

“We are grateful that our valued client, Regions Bank, once again gave us the opportunity to bring their project vision to reality,” said Michael Byrd, Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager, who oversees the company’s Charlotte operations. “This new space and retail branch signal a new chapter for Regions Bank in the Queen City and add to our growing portfolio of work in the area.”
