Brasfield & Gorrie Named General Contractor of the Year by Alabama Subcontractors Group

Subcontractors Association of Alabama recognizes Brasfield & Gorrie

Birmingham, Ala. – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced that the company has been named “General Contractor of the Year” by the Subcontractors Association of Alabama (SubAla).

SubAla also honored Brasfield & Gorrie Senior Superintendent Larry Helms as “Superintendent of the Year.” A 39-year company veteran, Helms has worked on some of Brasfield & Gorrie’s most complex healthcare projects, including Grandview Medical Center, where he currently serves as senior superintendent.

“This honor reflects our strong relationship with our subcontractor and vendor partners, which are integral to our success,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Chief Operating Officer Jeff Stone.

The award was presented during a ceremony on Oct. 7, 2014, in Birmingham, Alabama.
