Brasfield & Gorrie Celebrates Construction Milestone at Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph Hotel

Topping out marks end of structural construction for 135-room boutique hotel

Orlando, Fla. (May 29, 2014) – Brasfield & Gorrie recently marked a construction milestone at the 135-room Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph boutique hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

A topping out ceremony was held on May 9, 2014, marking the end of the project’s structural construction phase.
The 10-story, 110,000 sq ft boutique hotel, located on North High Street in the Short North Arts District, will include deluxe spa suites, meeting rooms, a restaurant and ballrooms.
Brasfield & Gorrie’s Orlando office is teaming with design architect Arquitectonica, architect of record Elness Swenson Graham Architects and interior design architect Gensler on this project for developer The Pizzuti Companies. Construction of the Starwood-brand hotel began in August 2013 and will be completed in late 2014.
