February 22, 2013

Atlanta, Georgia (February 22, 2013) Brasfield & Gorrie has completed a major milestone on 77 12th Street. The 25-story apartment tower has topped out, marking the peak point of the project. Approximately 450 people attended the topping out celebration on Friday, February 8.

The $57 million, 615,000 sq ft, high-end residential complex will include 330 units, a saltwater pool, bocce ball courts, and private terraces.

The 77 12th Street project is the latest phase of the 12th & Midtown development, which includes 1010 Midtown and 1075 Peachtree, also constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie.

“We are excited to continue building on our relationship with Daniel Corporation and appreciate the opportunity to be part of another of their projects. The topping out ceremony marks a significant achievement, and we look forward to handing over the project for the community to enjoy,” said Rob Blalock, Division Manager and Vice President at Brasfield & Gorrie.

Brasfield & Gorrie broke ground in December 2011, and the complex is anticipated to complete in September of this year. Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio, LLC, is the architect on the project.
