General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie won four national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at their 33rd annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet. The event was held March 16 in Kissimmee, Florida. The awards recognized Brasfield & Gorrie’s work on projects in a variety of market sectors, including commercial, education, infrastructure, and sports and entertainment.

“We’re honored to see our work recognized by ABC, as it is a reflection of the collective efforts of our project teams, clients, design partners, and trade contractors,” said Brasfield & Gorrie CEO Jim Gorrie. “These awards are a testament to our commitment to delivering excellent projects.”

Two projects earned first-place Eagle Awards: City Walk BHAM in the Special Projects ($2-$100 million) category; and Protective Stadium in the Mega (Projects over $100 million) category. Both Eagle Award projects are in Birmingham, Alabama. ABC recognized two projects with second-place Pyramid awards: Magnolia Speech School in Madison, Mississippi, in the Commercial ($10-$25 million) category; and Park Point Development in Durham, North Carolina, in the Historical Restoration/Renovation ($25 to $100 million) category.
