Renovated Jackson Preparatory School Junior High Opens

August 18, 2021

Jackson Preparatory School’s junior high students were welcomed to a freshly renovated campus when school resumed this month. The construction project included the 26,000 sq ft demolition and build-out of new classroom space at the Flowood, Mississippi, campus.

“Our environments affect us, and it’s important to create a positive environment for our students to learn and play in,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager Ryan Springer. “We’re honored to play a role in serving Jackson Prep.”

Ferguson & Associates Architects designed the facility.

Brasfield & Gorrie’s Jackson, Mississippi, office managed the construction project. The general contractor has completed numerous projects in the state, including a Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi and Baptist Memorial Health Care primary care center in Madison and the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi.
