West Side Wastewater Treatment Plant

After a period of rapid growth in the 1990s, the city of Fayetteville needed a major wastewater system upgrade. Brasfield & Gorrie was selected to build a completely new facility—which would account for more than a third of the largest single municipal project ever undertaken in Northwest Arkansas. The plant is capable of treating 32 million gallons per day but was designed with the most stringent environmental standards in mind with Oklahoma and the Illinois River nearby.
