Tampa Bay Surface Water Treatment Plant

To double its operating capacity from 60 to 120 million gallons per day, the Tampa Bay Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant needed a serious expansion. Brasfield & Gorrie took a progressive design-build approach all while maintaining ongoing operations throughout the facility. This state-of-the-art facility is the hub of Tampa Bay Water’s Enhanced Surface Water System, the first alternative water supply built to serve a community that relied on groundwater in the past.
