Eagle & Phenix Mill No. 2

Burned by federal forces near the end of the Civil War and rebuilt in 1872, this nineteenth-century cotton mill now houses 73 units with ground-level office, restaurant, and boutique shopping space. Eagle & Phenix combines renovation with historic preservation, and its result offers urban living with direct access to the scenic Riverwalk in Columbus. We kept the mill’s original exposed brick walls, wood ceilings, and expansive windows and breathed new life into this historical artifact.
