Situated on 1.5 acres in Midtown, Atlanta, the 12th & Juniper multifamily project includes two towers—one 37 stories and another 34 stories tall—totaling 1,012,000 sq ft and 487 units. It features an eight-level parking deck, ground-level retail space, and pools on both the ninth floor and the rooftop.
A self-perform success
With a projected total of roughly 54,000 cubic yards of concrete, 12th & Juniper represents one of the larger concrete packages we’ve done to date. We priced self-performing the concrete structures against hiring a trade contractor and proved to the owner that we offer competitive value and expertise in the market. Since then, our client’s trust in us has paid off. We were initially tasked with pouring each tower back to back, but we quickly realized that we had the manpower to begin pouring both towers simultaneously. We’re now on pace to turn over one of the towers more than four months early—made possible by our direct control over how many boots were on the ground.
