Charlotte Midtown Medical Office Building Reaches Construction Milestone

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – Brasfield & Gorrie, Atrium Health, Pappas Properties and The Beck Group recently celebrated the topping out of a Pappas Properties medical office building in Midtown at Kenilworth Avenue and Harding Place.

The general contractor is building a pair of Atrium Health medical office buildings and a nine-level parking deck. The first of these buildings is a 200,000 sq ft structure built on top of two levels of cast-in-place parking. The five-story facility will become Atrium Health’s Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Kenilworth location. The new outpatient facility will house services that include a cardiac rehabilitation suite, state-of-the-art imaging capabilities and a range of sub-specialty cardiovascular services.

The building is accompanied by a nine-story,1,400-plus-space precast parking deck. This structure and its neighboring medical office building will be connected by a four-level pedestrian bridge.
