A design-build project, TRT Holdings Headquarters is a 345,000 sq ft, build-to-suit, Class A office building comprised of six floors totaling 170,195 sq ft of office space and a two-level, 174,137 sq ft, below-grade parking deck. The site presented several challenges throughout the course of construction. The project site is bordered by major thoroughfares and an occupied office complex, creating obstacles for storage and laydown. To overcome these obstacles, the project team scheduled deliveries efficiently so that storage requirements were minimal. Another challenge was the careful testing and removal of approximately 85,000 yards of contaminated soil during excavation.
