Construction Underway on Jackson Preparatory School Junior High Renovation

June 15, 2021

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie recently started work on a 26,000 sq ft demolition and build-out of new classroom space at Jackson Preparatory School in Flowood, Mississippi. The renovation will serve the school’s junior high students.

“We value building strong communities, and a community’s young people are its greatest asset,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager Ryan Springer. “We’re honored to build this important facility to support Jackson Preparatory School as they educate and develop well-rounded youth.”

Ferguson & Associates Architects designed the facility, which is scheduled for completion in time for an August opening.

Brasfield & Gorrie’s Jackson, Mississippi, office is managing the construction project. The general contractor has completed numerous prominent projects in the state, including the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi and the Westin Jackson in the heart of downtown.
