Brasfield & Gorrie has broken ground on 2626 McKinney, a 180,841 sq ft, 17-story office tower in Uptown Dallas’ financial district. Developed by Stonelake Capital Partners, the project will deliver a Class AA workspace at the entry to the State Thomas Historic District.
2626 McKinney will feature an amenity floor with indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, conference and board rooms and a state-of-the-art wellness center. Other amenities will include a covered valet entry, restaurant and retail spaces and landscaped plazas that create a tailored arrival experience along McKinney Avenue. The project is designed to balance modern building features with the refined character of its historic surroundings.
“Uptown is the epicenter of growth right now in Dallas, and this project is going to be a strong addition to the growing skyline,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager Neil Caudle. “Beyond what it means for the tenants who’ll work here, 2626 McKinney brings more energy, more investment and more reasons for people to be here, and our team is honored to help bolster the city’s growth.”
Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie expands its Texas presence with more than 270 projects completed statewide, anchored by its Dallas office.
The Beck Group serves as the project’s architect. Additional project partners include Bank OZK as construction lender, HPI as office leasing partner and SHOP Companies as retail partner. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2028.
