The Lithia Hydrogen Sulfide Removal Facility is one of the first of its kind in Florida. Because well water is the primary water source for the Lithia plant, this facility uses ozonated water to remove the hydrogen sulfide gas that is commonly found in the water supply. Thanks to Brasfield & Gorrie’s construction efforts, the new ozonated water method produces 25 million gallons of treated water per day to serve the greater Tampa Bay community.
