Central Water Reclamation Facility

As the largest wastewater treatment plant in Tennessee, this facility near Downtown Nashville had already been upgraded four times since it was originally built in 1958. Brasfield & Gorrie stepped in as the construction manager-at-risk for what would be the client’s largest dollar value project ever and increased the peak treatment capacity from 240 to 440 million gallons per day. Our team went the extra mile to incorporate sustainability into both design and construction, which resulted in LEED Gold certification for the new maintenance facility.
