Brasfield & Gorrie Honored with Four National Excellence in Construction Awards

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie won four national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at their 33^rd annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet. The event was held March 16 in Kissimmee, Florida. The awards recognized Brasfield & Gorrie’s work on projects in a variety of market sectors, including commercial, education, infrastructure, and sports and entertainment.

“We’re honored to see our work recognized by ABC, as it is a reflection of the collective efforts of our project teams, clients, design partners, and trade contractors,” said Brasfield & Gorrie CEO Jim Gorrie. “These awards are a testament to our commitment to delivering excellent projects.”

Two projects earned first-place Eagle Awards: City Walk BHAM in the Special Projects ($2-$100 million) category; and Protective Stadium in the Mega (Projects over $100 million) category. Both Eagle Award projects are in Birmingham, Alabama. ABC recognized two projects with second-place Pyramid awards: Magnolia Speech School in Madison, Mississippi, in the Commercial ($10-$25 million) category; and Park Point Development in Durham, North Carolina, in the Historical Restoration/Renovation ($25 to $100 million) category.
