Brasfield & Gorrie Executive Honored by Auburn University

AUBURN, Alabama – Brasfield & Gorrie Executive Vice President Jeff Stone received the Auburn University Lifetime Achievement Award Saturday. The award recognizes members of the Auburn family for achievement in their professional lives, as well as their personal integrity and service to the university.

As Executive Vice President for Brasfield & Gorrie, Stone oversees field operations and corporate support functions while serving on the company’s executive board. He joined the company in 1979 after he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn. Stone is also a member of the United Way of Central Alabama board of directors, and he is the chairman of the 2019 annual campaign. In 2014, he was inducted into the State of Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame.

Stone received the honor during a dinner and induction ceremony at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. The Auburn Alumni Association also presented the 2019 honor to the late Neil Owen Davis, Thom Gossom and Dick Ingwersen. Auburn established the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. Brasfield & Gorrie Founder and Chairman Miller Gorrie was a 2005 recipient.
