Project Walter consists of a 125,000 sq ft greenfield facility that will house up to 300 staff members using approximately 270 shared and assigned workspaces. The purpose of the facility is to consolidate the client’s Carolinas East regional control capabilities and to provide backup control capabilities for the Carolinas West region. The two primary groups that will occupy the building are the Energy Control Center Transmission Operator group and the Distribution Control Center Distribution Provider group. The facility will support 24/7 operations.
