Project Walter Control Center

This control center consists of a 125,000 sq ft greenfield facility supporting 24/7 operations and housing up to 300 staff members. This facility consolidates our client’s Carolinas East regional control capabilities and provides backup control capabilities for the Carolinas West region. The two primary groups that occupy the building are the Energy Control Center Transmission Operator group and the Distribution Control Center Distribution Provider group.
