Brasfield & Gorrie Celebrates the Opening of Swaid Vestavia Medical Center & Surgical Institute of Alabama

Gov. Kay Ivey and other dignitaries joined Dr. Swaid N. Swaid recently for the ribbon cutting of Swaid Vestavia Medical Center & Surgical Institute of Alabama. The facility is located at 1021 Old Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills.

“Our goal is to provide our patients healthcare that is advanced, convenient and cost effective. I believe that, along with our partners, we will meet this goal,” Swaid said.

“Access to best-in-class healthcare is a vital component of a strong community. We are pleased to have been a part of Dr. Swaid’s team to deliver a center that will increase the convenience of such care for many in our hometown and throughout the southeast,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President and Division Manager Ed Hauser. Brasfield & Gorrie served as the general contractor.

Swaid Vestavia Medical Center & Surgical Institute of Alabama is a 40,000 sq ft multi-specialty medical center with an ambulatory surgery center, diagnostic center, clinical space and physical therapy.
