Ascension Seton Williamson expands care with new patient tower
August 25, 2026

Ascension Seton Williamson is opening its new patient tower on Sept. 1. This $230 million investment is designed to meet the needs of Williamson County, one of the fastest-growing regions in Central Texas.
Key highlights of the new patient tower include:
- 96 new inpatient beds, with capacity to support future growth as our community needs evolve.
- A new 10-bed Clinical Decision Unit to support observation care and help patients transition smoothly to the next step in their care.
- A new cardiac catheterization lab for specialized cardiovascular services.
- Two new operating suites to reduce wait times and increase surgical capacity.
- Additional CT, MRI, and X-ray capabilities.
- A 33,000-square-foot expansion within the Medical Office Building, creating new space for hospital-based outpatient departments (such as cardiac rehab, pediatric rehab, and a lymphedema clinic) and upgraded cardiology offices.
Brasfield & Gorrie served as general contractor.
