Walter Bouldin Dam Intake Gate U2

When one of the gates at the Walter Bouldin Dam was damaged beyond repair, Brasfield & Gorrie was selected to remove it and fabricate and install a replacement gate. After the damaged gate was demolished and hauled off site, the backing plates were refurbished. This allowed the new gate to be transported across the dam and hoisted into place for final alignment of the gate and trunnions followed by final attachment to the backing plates.
