We’re building this mixed-use development on Georgia Tech’s campus. This phase of the project includes a Class AA office building with lab and office space, a cafe, a fitness center, and a parking deck. The building will have ground floor retail and restaurant space and outdoor amenities and will be seeking LEED certification.

We’re also building a high-rise residential tower that will sit adjacent to the life science building as part of Science Square.

Science Square laboratory and office tower set to rise 13 stories

With an increasing demand for lab space due to the growing lifes sciences industry, Science Square will help solidify Atlanta as an emerging market in this sector. The office tower project includes lab and office space as well as a café, a fitness center, and other amenities.

"The preconstruction for this project was during some challenging market conditions, experiencing roughly escalation at 1% per month. Brasfield & Gorrie did a great job at helping mitigate those cost increases by getting key subs on board earlier and locking in pricing. Getting all the subs to commit to locking in price escalations was a big help in eliminating that risk."
