Plant Wansley Units 6 and 7

For the first of multiple projects with Plant Wansley, we installed concrete foundations, underground electrical, and underground mechanical for a 1,000 megawatt combined cycle power plant. Brasfield & Gorrie was brought in as a trade contractor by The Industrial Company (TIC), who was awarded the above-ground contract, at the client’s request, making us TIC’s largest trade contractor in company history. This was also the first time Southern Company awarded underground and above-ground contracts to the same group.
