Center for Molecular Medicine at the University of Georgia

This two-story addition to the UGA Complex Carbohydrate Research Center houses ten 1,200 sq ft laboratories and shared support spaces, including cell culture facilities, environmental rooms, and microscopy space. In addition to faculty offices and a 1,200 sq ft conference room, the Center houses a 7,500 sq ft vivarium. We worked closely with the architect to revise the design of the building’s high-end terrazzo monumental stair, saving the project $50,000.
