BJCC Protective Stadium

We built this multi-use, open-air stadium within the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. This long-awaited stadium is a continuation of the Uptown district that serves as a catalyst for future development in the surrounding area. Protective Stadium is the home of UAB Football, and we completed the stadium in time for the 2020 season, just 18 months after the start of construction. The stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies for The World Games in 2022.
