Anderson Regional Joint Water System

After heavy rainfall in 2013 led to elevated runoff of algae-stimulating nutrients into Lake Hartwell, nearby citizens registered hundreds of complaints each week about musty-smelling, bad-tasting water. The City of Anderson, South Carolina, brought Brasfield & Gorrie on as the construction manager-at-risk to install an ozone treatment train on the raw water line prior to the water treatment plant, which was already processing 48 million gallons per day at the existing facility.

"The project worksite was managed to one of the highest standards that I have witnessed in my career - the crews were well prepared, work was seamless and consistently high quality, jobsite safety maintained, work site was clean, all while maintaining a great working relationship with onsite ARJW staff. I could not more strongly recommend Brasfield & Gorrie, and especially this management team."
