Brasfield & Gorrie Receives Six National Awards from Associated Builders and Contractors

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie won six national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)’s 30th annual Excellence in Construction awards program. The awards recognize Brasfield & Gorrie’s work on projects in a variety of market sectors, including government, healthcare, public works and sports and recreation. The awards will be presented during ABC Convention 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee, on Aug. 18. The company received four first-place Eagle awards and two second-place Pyramid awards.

“We owe these honors to the hard work, innovation, and collaboration of our project teams, trade partners, and clients,” said Brasfield & Gorrie CEO Jim Gorrie. “We are grateful for these partnerships and the trust our clients invest in us.”

Four projects earned first-place Eagle Awards: Laredo 1 and 2 Points of Entry in Laredo, Texas; Proton International at UAB in Birmingham; Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Hoover Metropolitan Complex in Hoover, Alabama. ABC recognized two projects with second-place Pyramid awards: Raytheon North Airport Expansion in Tucson, Arizona, and Prattville Pine Creek CWF Expansion in Prattville, Alabama.
