Brasfield & Gorrie Begins Construction of the Vallate Apartments

Adjacent Rocca Apartments Also Undergoes Renovation

ATLANTA, Ga. (March 25, 2012) – Brasfield & Gorrie has begun construction of the Vallate Apartments, a 234-unit luxury apartment complex in the Piazza at Paces community development. The Vallate Apartments are adjacent to the existing Rocca Apartments, which Brasfield & Gorrie will renovate as part of the project, and is expected to be complete at the end of 2013.

“This phase will complete the Piazza at Paces apartment complex, creating one of Atlanta’s greatest luxury communities,” said Rob Blalock, Region President. “We look forward to welcoming tenants to the new and renovated buildings late next year.”

Vallate consists of a five-story wood-framed structure attached to an 11-story concrete structure with, a five-story precast parking deck, and an amenity level with a pool. Due to the existing neighboring apartment building, the site work will include minimal clearing and grading, and much of the work will be focused on relocating current utility sources.

Renovations to the Rocca Apartments will include granite countertop installation in the kitchens and bathrooms, refurbished cabinets and light fixtures, and upgraded appliances.

Daniel Corporation is working with MetLife as the developers of the project.
