The University of Georgia Soccer Press Box and Grandstands Replacement project is a design-build effort between Brasfield & Gorrie and Davis Architects. The project included removal of the existing grandstands and press box and replacement with new grandstands that are fully compliant with accessibility requirements, including an elevator for the press box. The new grandstands hold 1,600 patrons and provide clear sight lines to the existing soccer field. The new press box accommodates media, television, and radio personnel, scoreboard and game operations, and event management staff. The press box also includes filming platforms with unobstructed views at mid-field and penalty box locations on each end of the stands.
