The St. Anthony’s emergency department expansion consisted of construction of a stand-alone 35,000 sq ft emergency department with two floors of shelled bed space for 32 future beds per level and a penthouse above the third level. Also included in this project was the construction of a one-story connector from the new emergency department to the east entry of the hospital. This connector was designed to be vertically expanded to three levels.

The project also included construction of a new single-story, 6,500 sq ft convent with a chapel and meditation garden. Exterior living areas included two enclosed courtyards surrounded by 8-foot-high masonry walls with lush landscaping and water features.
