This design-build 55,000 sq ft addition to an existing manufacturing building consisted of a single-story high-bay expansion that increased the manufacturing space by one-third. The expansion added an office area, a wastewater treatment system, plant restrooms, a new cinema room, a tool crib, a clinic, and a computer room. The expansion created a state-of-the-art facility using the latest technology to manufacture components, called “blisks,” used primarily for military- and commercial-grade aircraft.
