The Missile Integration Facility is a 70,000 sq ft, fully automated, high-bay missile manufacturing facility that consists of a missile assembly facility, office support area, and two missile test cells. The building was constructed of precast concrete panels supported by a steel frame structure. Each test cell consists of a cast-in-place concrete shell with a backfilled concrete retaining wall on three sides. Each cell is located down a 328-linear-foot precast corridor from the manufacturing facility. Site features included a guard house, parking lot, perimeter road, entry drive, truck dock, external mechanical yards, and extensive security systems. The project included 6,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete and more than 4 million pounds of precast concrete. Immediately following initial construction of the facility, a third test cell and another precast corridor were added to support the increasing output of the facility.
