The Atrium Health Core Laboratory is a 29,000 sq ft interior renovation to convert existing space to research testing areas for microbiology, immunology, molecular, cytogenetics, FISH, chemistry, hematology, and reference processing. The new laboratory space also includes areas for customary support and administrative functions for a complete core reference lab.

The project was completed via use of a modified integrated project delivery method, BIM, and Target Value Design.
