The Alfa Insurance Business Processing Center/Recovery Center is the second major addition constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie at Alfa’s main campus. The Tier III, 134,095 sq ft facility is separated by a four-hour wall between the Business Processing Center (BPC) and the Recovery Center. The BPC is a totally concrete structure that consists of two levels, a basement and a first floor. The exterior wall is 12 inch-thick painted concrete with no windows. The Recovery Center consists of a basement and two floors. The veneer is a combination of precast concrete panels, metal panels, and curtain wall.

This mission critical facility was designed and constructed to remain operational during even the most severe weather events. The facility includes 6,400 sq ft of white space and has a power density of 140 W/sq ft. The total critical IT load is 900 kW, with N+1 redundancy.
