Gantt Dam Gate Refurbishment

The hydroelectric plant at Gantt Dam has provided reliable and economical energy for many decades, and upgrades eventually became inevitable. Our team improved the facility’s four tainter type spillway gates by removing the timber facing and replacing it with steel plates as well as installing five track racks provided by the owner., were installed. During the build, our team took the necessary precaution of draining Gantt Lake down to the bed, though significant efforts were made to protect the mussels and fishes living in it.
